Bartelsmeyer, Luella (nee: Niehaus), 104, of St. Louis, MO, passed away on December 25, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Clarence Bartelsmeyer; loving mother of Ann Abid (Roldo Bartimole), Susan (James) Bartlett, and Debra (Dennis) Barrett; dear grandmother of Rod Abid, Kady Abid Cole (Kevin Mular), Peter Bartlett (Kristy Sammis) and Whitney Bartlett Anderson; dear great-grandmother of Charles Cole, Peyton and Riley Anderson, and Eve and Townsend Bartlett; and sister of the late Thomas, Elger, Francis Bill, and Herbert Niehaus; and our dear aunt, cousin, and friend. Services: A visitation will be held at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, MO 63074, on Thursday, 12/28/2017, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home on Friday, 12/29/2017, at 10 a.m. Interment at North Prairie Cemetery in Hoyleton, IL. We always called them Aunt Leulla & Uncle Bart. She was best friends and high school classmate of my Mom, Fay Davis O'Shea, at Ferguson High. The BEST of the best. Love to Ann, Susan & Debbie.
