It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lugarda Toscano, cherished wife and beloved matriarch, who left this world peacefully on December 11, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on June 1, 1965, in Mexico, she embraced her role as a devoted housewife in Weslaco, Texas, where she nurtured and shaped the lives of everyone around her.

Lugarda was a shining light in her family's life, known for her warmth, compassion, and unwavering dedication. Her love for her husband, Ruben Toscano, was a testament to the deep bond they shared, a partnership forged through years of shared dreams and enduring hope. She leaves behind not only a loving husband but also countless memories cherished by family and friends who were fortunate to know her.

A celebration of Lugarda's life will take place on December 20, 2025, beginning with a public viewing at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco in the Chapel of Grace at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are invited to gather to pay their respects and to share in the warmth of remembrance. A Mass will follow at 6:00 PM at the same location, where we will honor her life, her legacy, and the precious moments we shared. Following the ceremonies, Lugarda will be cremated, with her final disposition set for December 22, 2025, at 10:30 AM.
