Lugene Fernald Obituary
A visitation where the family will be receiving friends will be held at Bliley's Central - 3801 Augusta Ave Thursday, February 15th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial ceremony in her honor will be held Friday, February 16th at 2pm at Bon Air Baptist Church - 2531 Buford Rd, Richmond, VA 23235. On behalf of the family, please do not send any flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CrossRoads Camp and Conference Center 2247 Little Piney Road, Lowesville, VA 22967, or online at crossroadscamp.com.

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. Lugene has taken many sewing classes from me, even traveling to my studio location in CT. She is truly one of the sweetest people I have ever met. This is the last sentence in an email she sent to me in 2021: "I feel like you have become a forever friend and resource over the times that I met you. Thank you sew much!"
My heart breaks for the family, she is a very special person.
