In Loving Memory of Luis Amadis

Luis Amadis passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026 at the age of 80. His life was a quiet testimony of faith, perseverance, and deep love for family, friends, and Jehovah God.

Luis was the proud and devoted father of Rei, Robert, Diana, and Liz, and a loving grandfather to Jaziel, Kaylee, Timothy, and Sarah, each of whom brought him great joy. Family was central to his heart, extending to his beloved siblings Dora, Juan, Jose, Rosa, Elizabeth, and Luciano, along with many cherished nieces and nephews from both the Amadiz and Portes families.

Although his secular education ended in elementary school, Luis never stopped learning. He pursued knowledge daily, guided by wisdom, curiosity, and especially by his love for the Bible, his most treasured book. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, he embraced a global chosen family, forming meaningful bonds across cultures and countries united by faith, love, and shared hope.

Luis understood that life's greatest luxuries were not material. He found joy in nature, friendship, good food, travel, and shared moments. Strong in conviction, his presence brought guidance, comfort, and sincerity.

Luis will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever honored through the faith he lived and the love he gave so freely.

En Amorosa Memoria de Luis Amadis

Luis Amadis falleció en paz el 1 de enero, a la edad de 80 años. Su vida fue un testimonio silencioso de fe, perseverancia y amor profundo por su familia, sus amigos y por Jehová Dios.

Luis fue un padre orgulloso y dedicado de Rei, Robert, Diana y Elizabeth, y un abuelo amoroso de Jaziel, Kaylee, Timothy y Sarah, quienes fueron una fuente constante de alegría para él. Su amor por la familia se extendió a sus queridos hermanos Dora, Juan, Jose, Rosa, Elizabeth y Luciano, así como a los muchos sobrinos y sobrinas de las familias Amadiz y Portes.

Aunque su educación secular terminó en la escuela primaria, Luis nunca dejó de aprender. Día tras día buscó conocimiento y sabiduría, guiado especialmente por su amor a la Biblia, su libro más preciado. Como uno de los Testigos de Jehová, formó parte de una familia espiritual global, creando lazos sinceros en distintos países y culturas, unidos por la fe y el amor.

Luis comprendía que los mayores lujos de la vida no eran materiales. Encontró felicidad en la naturaleza, la amistad, la buena comida, los viajes y los momentos compartidos. Firme en sus convicciones y tierno con quienes amaba, su presencia ofrecía consejo, consuelo y autenticidad.

Luis Amadis será profundamente extrañado, recordado con amor y honrado por siempre a través de la fe que vivió y el amor que entregó.
