Luis Cardenas Castellanos

Luis Cardenas Castellanos, 43, was born on March 15, 1983, in Heroica Veracruz, Mexico, the son of Guadalupe Castellanos and Yolanda Cardenas.

Luis was a life-long resident of McCurtain County and had lived in the Haworth/Tom community for the last 10 years. He met his wife, Lena Wyatt, when he was 19 and they later married in 2003. Luis was an avid outdoors man, loving to hunt and fish. However, his true passion was his profession, logging. Luis spent countless hours in the log woods and made many lifelong friends throughout his career. Luis was a true "people person", never meeting a stranger and loving to visit with his family and friends. Luis will be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

Luis is survived by his wife, Lena Wyatt of the home; stepchildren, Bradie Jamison and husband, Greg, Dillon Aguilar and wife, Alexis and Jose Aguilar; six step grandchildren; siblings, Guadalupe Cardenas and Anna Cardenas; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
