Luis was from Davao City, Philippines and attended the University of Mindanao Philippines. He worked as a salesman in the Philippines and personal caregiver in the United States. Luis was married to Paz Relampagos Europa on June 19, 1971 until Paz's passing on November 5, 1997.
Luis is survived by his three daughters, Sandra Lasam, Sheila Salcedo, and Suzette Alibangbang; sons-in-law, Dennis Lasam and Anthony Alibangbang; his grandchildren, Alexa and Denzel Lasam, Hendrix Ivan Salcedo, and Zethony and Zxyvion Alibangbang; and family and relatives in the Philippines.
A Memorial Service/Visitation will be held at Holy Spirit Church in Maryland Heights, MO on Friday, July 8th at 9:00 am Central Time followed by Funeral Mass at 10:00 am Central Time. The Mass will be streamed live on Holy Spirit Parish Church's YouTube Channel for those unable to attend in-person which can viewed by going to the following site, www.holyspiritstl.org
