Luis Cesar Gerena
Luis Cesar Gerena, 51, known by family and friends as Lou or Louie passed away on June 20, 2022.
Lou was born January 29, 1971, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to beloved Aida Luz Lopez and Cesar Gerena.
Lou loved cars as well as working on them. He worked for a business installing sunroofs, radios, window tints and more. He also did construction jobs with friends and family. Lou was a talented handyman who could build a house from the ground up with plumbing and electricity included. When it came to handy work there was nothing he couldn't do.
Lou enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends. He loved to play pool, ride bikes, spend time at the beach and travel. He was always playing jokes on people and making people laugh while creating memories that would last a lifetime. Lou was a wild card but he was a fun one. He will be missed dearly by all who loved him. As his favorite hoodie read, "if Louie can't fix it we're all screwed."
Luis is survived by his mother Aida, father Cesar, brother Edgar, sister Brunilda, daughters Lazette, Grace, Rose, Isabella and sons Martino and Luis.
