LUIS PEREZ GRANADO 1952 - 2025
Louie, left us suddenly on Monday, November 10, 2025, at his residence in the presence of his wife, brother, and sister. He was embraced by our Lord at the age of 73. Louie was born in San Antonio, Texas, on July 16, 1952.

Louie served his family as a kindhearted individual that rarely said no and never turned down an opportunity to help others. He graduated from Edgewood High School in 1970. Living almost his entire life on Barney Avenue, Louie was a well-known figure in the neighborhood. Louie loved fashionable apparel and all things leather…collecting antiques, knickknacks and rare coins. He loved classic cars, refurbishing woodworks, Spurs basketball and his Dallas Cowboys, all while listening to oldies, Tejano and country. While he cared for every vehicle he ever owned, he treasured his family above all: Mary his wife of 38 years, his daughter Veronica and his grandchildren. Louie had a passion for singing, playing guitar, and spent many years in the church choir where he honored our Heavenly Father as a devout Catholic.

Louie is preceded in death by his parents, Anatolio and Alicia Granado, daughter-Veronica Granado Villanueva, and eldest brother, Ernesto Granado.

Louie will be greatly missed by his surviving family: Mary Ramirez Granado, her children Enrique, Lawrence and Stephen Lara, along with their families, his grandchildren, Aaron, Amber, Rene and their families. His sisters Elida, Gloria, his brother Martin and their families. Louie had 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. As well as, his beloved pets, Gina, Chester, Tanya and Matilda.
