Luis Olay Obituary
Sr. Luis Pedro Olay Perez nació el martes, 29 de junio de 1936 en Monterrey, Nuevo León, México y falleció el miércoles, 15 de marzo de 2023. Graduado del IPN como Contador Público en 1971 y más tarde obtuvo una maestría en Comunicación por UPICSA (IPN). Además de ejercer su profesión en compañías como AHMSA y GM, fue locutor activo en radio en México. En Chicago fue productor de TV hispana en los 70's en Chicago. En Albuquerque fue empresario dirigiendo el primer periódico bilingüe, productor de eventos para el mercado hispano y posteriormente se dedicó a la consultoría en contaduría. Mantuvo viva la artesanía del popote que lo llevo a realizar exposiciones y difundir la cultura mexicana a través del popote en México y EE. UU.
Su extroversión, apreciación de la naturaleza, el arte y la cultura siempre estuvieron manifestados en su vida diaria. Además, practico de forma amateur el beisbol, soccer, hockey sobre hielo y siempre se mantuvo activo. Fue una persona espiritual, optimista, resiliente, con sentido del humor, caballeroso y sencillo con la capacidad de apreciar de manera extraordinaria lo que para otros pudiera parecer mundano.
