Luke Higbee Sr.
February 28, 1992 – December 28, 2025
We are heartbroken to share the loss of our beloved son, Luke Anthony Higbee Sr., age 33, of Kansas City, Kansas. Luke passed away on December 28, 2025. From the moment he entered our lives, he changed us forever. He was our joy, our teacher, and our greatest gift.
Luke was born on February 28, 1992, and we were privileged to watch him grow, learn, become a father, and become the person he was meant to be. He had a gentle way about him, a curious mind, and a heart that cared deeply for God and for people. Luke could make us laugh without trying and remind us of what truly mattered simply by being himself.
Luke was loved beyond measure. He was deeply devoted to those he cared about and found his greatest happiness in the people closest to him. The love he gave-especially to his son-will remain his lasting legacy.
Luke is survived by his parents, Guy and Lesli Higbee of Kansas City, Kansas; his two brothers, Andrew Higbee and Daniel Rogers, both of Kansas City, Kansas; his sister, Diane Simanowitz (Eric) of Leavenworth, Kansas; his grandfather, Stephen Foster of Basehor, Kansas; his Aunt, Robin Foster-Calovich (Kent) of Clinton, Missouri; the love of his life, Lacy Pierce; and the joy of his life, his son, Luke Anthony Higbee Jr.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Amanda Higbee-McBee; his grandmother, Ronda Foster; and several aunts and uncles.
We will miss Luke more than words can express. He will always be our son, a brother, a father, and an uncle. He will always be a part of us and forever be carried in our hearts.
During the service, family and friends are invited to come forward and share loving memories of Luke that have touched their hearts throughout the years.
