She was born September 17, 1934 to the late Walter Sylvester Dunlap and Grace Davis Dunlap. Also, preceding her in death is her husband Charles Holly Ingram; daughter and son in-law Valerie and Robert Davis; son in-law James Fouty; sisters Pauline Kipps, Ruth Ann Gay; brothers Donald, Wayne, Eugene and James Walter Dunlap.
Lu was a homemaker, and she cherished every moment spent with her daughters. She also enjoyed rooting for her favorite team, The West Virginia Mountaineers.
As a Baptist, her faith in God ran deep and carried her through many trying times throughout her life.
Surviving are daughters Victoria Fouty, Sue (Jeff) Hardesty-Ritenour; step children Yvonne (Holley) Ferrell and Greg (Susan) Ingram.
Graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, July 23rd, 11:00am at Cunningham Memorial Park Upper Mausoleum Chapel, St. Albans, WV. With Tom Burnside officiating.
