Lupe M Enriquez passed away peacefully after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
She was surrounded by love and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco MX and resident of Antioch CA for the past 73 years.
Worked at DelMonte and Hickmott canneries.
A devoted mother and cherished friend, Lupe had a deep love for the outdoors. She could always be found tending to her garden, watering plants, or simply enjoying the fresh air. Gardening wasn't just a hobby - it was her passion, and her green thumb brought beauty and life to every corner of her yard.
She also loved traveling and shopping, always finding joy in everything she did.
Her warmth, kindness, and loving manner left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She lived a full life, marked by love, laughter, and simple pleasures. She will be remembered most for her gentle spirit, her love of nature, and the peace she found in tending to the world around.
Lupe was a woman of deep faith and unwavering devotion to God. Her Catholic faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she made prayer a daily practice, often spending hours in reflection and communion with God. From a young age, Lupe was taught the power of prayer and the lives of the saints by her beloved mother. This foundation of faith guided her through all aspects of her life, and her commitment to God was always her top priority.
She was preceded in death by husband Jose P Enriquez. She is survived by Four children Vicky Enriquez McClain, Dora Castro (George), Hector Enriquez (Raquel), Joe Enriquez (Debbie) Seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Caitlin, Lorenzo, Eric, Alex, JoJo and Tawny. Two step Grandchildren Lalo and Gabriel. Five Great Grandchildren Harper, Jace, Adam, Joseph and Austin.
