Luther "Top" Bobbitt Jr.

Luther "Top" Bobbitt, Jr., 87 of Camden, TN passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026 at his home. Mr. Bobbitt was born on May, 18, 1938 in Carroll County, TN to the late Luther Willie Bobbitt and Katherine Lyles Bobbitt. He was proceeded in death by brothers, Terry Lee Bobbitt, Travis Bobbitt and sisters Joan Seiber and Selena Gilbert. Mr. Bobbitt retired from the State of Tennessee after 41 years of service as a construction worker building pavilions, bridges and other buildings in many parks across Tennessee. His last post before retirement was Natchez Trace State Park. Mr. Bobbitt was a member of Thompson General Baptist Church for 46 years. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 5:00-9:00 PM and continue Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 11:00-1:00 PM at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in Camden, TN.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 1 PM at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Paul Hollingsworth and Bro. Bill Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in Sandy Point Cemetery.
