Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, Luz was raised in Jersey City, NJ, and lived in Browns Mills since 1987. Luz was a long time parishioner at St. Ann's Catholic Church, and enjoyed arts and crafts, painting and gardening. She was a very loving and generous Mom and Grandmom, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, William Morales; her three children, William Morales, Jr. (fiance Gloria Rodriguez), Albert Morales (Dana), Anthony Morales (Jessica); two brothers and sister, Carlos Ortiz Jorge Rosario and Iris Garcia; 14 grandchildren, William J., Will Angel, Aneecia Luz, Caesar JJ, Shane, Shaila, Aislinn, Athena, Trey, Ashlee, Madelyn, Isabella, Christopher and Kaylee; 13 great grandchildren; and her special nieces, Monica, Brenda, Jessica and Rosie, along with numerous other nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 6-8PM, at the Moore Funeral Home, 371 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills, NJ. The viewing will continue on Friday, May 17, from 9:30AM-10:30AM, at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, at 11AM, at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 22 Trenton Road, Browns Mills, NJ.
Entombment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington, NJ.
