Luz Marina Velasquez, 77, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away, Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at her home.
Born September 10, 1948 in Colombia, South America she was the daughter of the late, Juan Reyes and Delores (Contreras) Reyes. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by many brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Velasquez was a beautician and a member of the El Shaddai Congregation, Frederick, Md.
She is survived by four children, Leo Velasquez, Marsha Franks, Anthony Velasquez and Dianne McConnell; one brother, Nelson Reyes; eight grandchildren, Janira Velasquez, Euriah Franks, Avril Franks, Skyler Franks, Mykah Franks, Mya Borda, Ava McConnell and Ella McConnell; three great grandchildren, Jarone Carroll, Aaliyah Velasquez and Malakai Ocon.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday one hour prior to the service.
