Lydia Christina Guerra

With heart broken, heavy hearts we share the sudden passing of our beloved sweet Lydia on February 10, 2025 at the age of 25. We deeply mourn the loss of her life here with us where she was a shining, smiling, and gentle presence.
Lydia's legacy of bright spirit and the memories we have with her will be cherished. We find comfort in connecting with these special memories of her as well as her faith that she would one day join her beloved Heavenly Father, the brightest of bright places.
Lydia was born in Hayward on June 19th, 1999 to her beloved parents Lourdes Aceves and Tony Guerra. Her father, Tony, had passed on before her. Lydia will be deeply missed by her mother, Lourdes Aceves; Diego, her husband-in-waiting; her 3 brothers on her Dad's side, Roberto (Gabriela), Joey (Jamyka), and Delfino; her 2 brothers, Josh (Sarah), Daniel and sister, Clara (Eric), from her Mom's side. Lydia will also be missed by her nieces Savanna and Olivia; her nephews Joseph, Isaac, Damian, Dominic, Michael, Elijah, Jonah, Isaiah, and Felix; many Cousins, Aunties, Uncles, Friends and her beloved dog, Mateo.
Lydia attended Southgate Elementary, Martin Luther King Junior High, Impact Academy of Arts & Technology, San Francisco State University and graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2023. After graduating she started working as a Para Educator for the New Haven School district and as of late employed by Ed Sped Solutions as a Para Educator primarily at Ruus Elementary of Hayward School District in a Preschool classroom with Special needs students where she had love for her students and fellow staff she worked with.
Family and Friends are invited to join us in celebrating her life.
Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th, at 11:00 am.
