Lydia Smith, née Nadolny, passed away May 2, 2025 in Alexandria, Virginia at the age of 75.
Lydia was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and attended Penn State University. She spent the 1970s and 80s as a housewife and devoted mother before returning to work as an administrative professional in the 1990s. She retired in 2013.
Lydia was an outgoing woman who was always ready to make a new friend. She will live on in the memories of everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her children Michael and Emily Smith, daughter-in-law Lysa Smith, sisters Alice & Loretta, many nieces and nephews, and her many beloved grand-pets.
