Lyla Marie Fauble

Lyla M. Fauble, age 86, of Apple Valley, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026.

Lyla was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Fauble, and her parents, Lyle and Mabel Robinson.

She is survived by her children, Patti Day, Cathy Davis (Stephen), and Mike Chermak; her grandchildren, Tony and Jan Anderson; as well as other loving family members and friends.

Lyla dearly loved her cats and was a member of the American Cat Fanciers Association. She was particularly involved with British Shorthair cats and participated in many cat shows throughout the country. She enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles and thoroughly loved creating stained glass window pieces, which she displayed both in her home and at the Apple Valley American Legion.

In earlier years, Lyla enjoyed motorcycle trips with her late husband, including a memorable ride to Sturgis. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will take place on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Avenue, Apple Valley, Minnesota. Memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. prior to the service.
