Lyle Victor Cluck

Victor Cluck, a beloved resident of Centralia, IL, passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on Wednesday, January 29th, 2025. Born on January 3rd, 1934, in Herrin, Illinois, Victor lived a full and vibrant life marked by love, hard work, and devotion to his family.
Victor spent many years working at Monsanto, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. Beyond his professional life, Victor had a passion for racing, traveling, and motorcycles. He was also an enthusiast of Western films, often sharing his love for them with family and friends.
Above all, Victor cherished his time with family. He is remembered as a loving father to his children: Norman Cluck and his wife Jody of Walnut Hill, Steve Cluck and his wife Tina of Walnut Hill, Mike Cluck and his wife Amy of Odin, Brenda Schaubert and her husband Tim of Shattuc, Peggy Boswood and her husband Bob of Florida, Tammy Groff and her husband Lester of Sandoval, and daughter-in-law Vonna Cluck of Walnut Hill. His legacy lives on through his 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Victor also had a special bond with his brother Don Cluck and his wife Betty, and sister-in-law Deb Cluck.
Victor was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Ethel Gant) Cluck; his beloved wife, Corrine (Griffith) Cluck; his brother David Cluck; sister Barbara Ann Cluck; daughters Angela Cluck and Vickie Jo Cluck; and his son, Larry Cluck.
Per his wishes cremation rites will be accorded with burial at a later date at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia. The family invites those who knew Victor to honor his memory through donations to Six Lemons, which will be accepted at Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home who is honored to be of service to Victor's family. Victor's warmth and humor will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. As we say goodbye, we celebrate the rich and full life that Victor led, forever holding him in our hearts.
