Lynda Wagner Correira

Lynda Wagner Correira, age 58, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025. Lynda was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. For 17 years, Lynda worked in the cafeteria at Levi Milton, where she greeted students and staff daily. Her dedication and warmth made her a beloved member of the school community. Beyond her work, Lynda devoted much of her life to ministry alongside her family, sharing her deep faith and compassion with others. Her love for God and people shone through everything she did. Lynda found her greatest joy in cooking and spending time with her family. Lynda's legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Lynda is survived by her loving husband, David Correira Sr.; daughter, Chelsy Persick (Jacob); son, David Correira Jr.; sisters, Cheryl Sibley (Randall), Donna Spier (Wade), Lori Wagner, Myra Butts, and Jennifer Coats (Jerod); grandchildren, Ava and Blake Persick; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Lynda is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Jean Wagner.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Baton Rouge, The Butterfly Wing, and Grace Health and Rehab Center for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Harbor Church, 2100 Anita Blvd, Hammond, LA 70403 on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
