Lynda Gail "GG" Gantt, 75, of Elizabeth Township passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025. She was born in McKeesport on November 25, 1949 to the late Clyde and June (McLean) Howell. "Gantt" as most people called her during her career, worked for 40+ years at US Steel in the Accounts Payable department. She created life-long friends, who eventually became family, with endless memories. Even after retirement and up until just recently, they would all get together to catch up and grab lunch. The best way to describe Gantt is... "fast cars & loud music - she was a rocker." GG is survived by her daughter, Shawna (Garry) Boden of Elizabeth Township; grandchildren, Talyn (Shannon Potter) Boden of Jamestown, and Tyler (Taylor) Boden of Versailles; as well as her brother, Robert (Patricia) Howell of Elizabeth Township; a niece and two nephews. Friends are welcome Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, director. Funeral service will take place Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Paul Walter officiating. Interment will take place at Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township. Condolences can be made at Gilbertfuneralhomeandcrematory.com
