Lynette Noelani Auna, 63, of Keaukaha, Hilo, HI, died on Wednesday, May 29th. She was born in Hilo, HI and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, counselor, political aide, business owner, probation officer and teacher. She was a 1978 graduate of Hilo High School, a graduate of Hawaii Community College and Pathway Connect and a member of the Keaukaha Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Friends may call at the Hilo Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (1373 Kilauea Ave., Hilo, HI) on Friday, June 14, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, followed by burial at the Homelani Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Abbie Napeahi, father, Robert Napeahi, Jr., brother, Darius Napeahi, and is survived by her: Husband, Aubrey Auna of Hilo, HI; Sons, Aaron (Jackie) Auna of Hilo, HI and Marcus Auna of Hilo, HI; Daughter, Jacelyn Auna of Hilo, HI; Mother, Roselani Napeahi of Hilo, HI; Brother, Joseph (Wanda) Napeahi of Kahuku, HI; Sisters, Terri Napeahi of Hilo, HI, Laures Napeahi-Ulep of Hilo, HI and LaCher (Eric) Napeahi of Hilo, HI; Brothers-in-law, Aley (Danelle) Auna of Kailua-Kona, HI and Ahlberg (Tia) Auna of San Antonio, TX; Sisters-in-law, Adrienne (Sam) Thomas of Hilo, HI, Allyce TeNgaio of Pleasant Grove, UT and Althea (Fia) Neria of Salt Lake City, UT; three grandchildren, Elise, Elijah and Evan; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and Ke'oke'o.
