Lynette Yvonne Baker Hendricks, 79, of Stantonsburg passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2025, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Entombment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. Rev. Johnny Hendricks will officiate.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 30, 2025, from 11:30 to 12:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
Lynette loved the holidays, with Christmas being her favorite as she shared homemade candy which was her tradition with Easter being second. Devoted and active member of Wave Church in Wilson. She loved listening to her senior Pastor, Steve Kelly, and campus Pastor, Daryl High, and watching services online when she was unable to attend. Lynette was recently baptized. Lynette loved everyone she worked with and maintained those relationships. Lynette was a wonderful person and friend, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she will be dearly missed and thought of often.
Lynette is survived by her daughters, Ellen “Neenie” Saunders and husband, Ricky, and Dana Bizzell and husband, Tim; grandsons, Paul Peele, Sr. and wife, Ashley, Jordan Bizzell, and Parker Bizzell and significant other, Mary Kathryn VanLandingham; granddaughters, Miranda Saunders, Mia McCall, and Jasmine Hendricks; great-granddaughters, Makaila Lucas, Londyn Hendricks, Mia Lucas, Sophia Lucas, Paige Peele and Aspen Peele; great-grandsons, Paul Peele, Jr. and Ayden Peele and her brother, Ricky Baker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.C. Hendricks, Jr.; daughter, Cindy Hendricks; grandsons, James Lucas and Christopher Peele, Jr.; parents, Beamon and Ellen Baker, and her brothers, W.D. Baker, Ronnie Baker, and Glenn Baker.
