I first met Lynn when she would visit her dear friend Nettie at Seminary Manor. Not long after I met her a position for Receptionist opened and Lynn mentioned it. We discussed it and she asked if I thought she would have a chance at it. I encouraged her to apply after hearing her background and I knew from only knowing her a short time that she had a great chance at the position. Lynn did apply and I had her use me as a reference. She did get the position and right away looked like she had been there for years. Lynn was very good at anything she did and her personality was over the top. She would do all she could to help others succeed and accomplish their goals. Lynn and I quickly became friends and I know I was on the list of so many because Lynn was like a magnet, others gravitated towards her loving nature. Lynn eventually would leave Seminary Manor and I really missed seeing her every day. We remained good friends and when my Mom passed away, I reached out to Lynn and asked if she would know of anyone from her Church that might want a young cat as we didn´t want my Moms cat "Bela" to go back to the shelter. Lynn and John had lost their pet Cat a few years before and Lynn said they might be interested. They came to meet Bella and took her home. I was elated asI knew they would give her the warm and loving home she deserved, and they have. Lynn and I kept in touch over the years and shared photos of her, John and their family along with Bella in her happy home. Her children and grandchildren were her life and she was so proud of them. I have lost a dear friend and a part of me. My thoughts and prayers are with Lynn´s family.
