Lynette Swann Simon

My condolences to the family of Lynette Swann Simon. Lynette was the very first person I met on Sept. 9, 1981 getting on that bus headed to Ft. Leonardwood, MO for basic training US ARMY. She was so nice and we both were so young just graduated from high school; her Walker HS me- Southwest Dekalb and didn't know WHAT to expect. But we made it through. Memories...

Lynette is the bestie of my bestie and over the past 45 years Lynette and I had a little friendly tug of war over our friendship with Karen Lee.Despite it all I knew Lynette was generous,kind and funny and if she was your friend,you had a friend indeed.Lynette will be missed by us all and I am praying that you are now resting in perfect peace.I will miss you..Shero,.Thank You For Your Service and until I see you again,Love Ms Ronnee Harris, your 1981 WHS classmate
