Lynn Margaret Bartz, 71, of Punta Gorda, Florida formerly of Silver Creek, NY, died Wednesday, January 12th, 2022 at Advent Health of Orlando. Lynn was born November 23rd,1950, in Silver Creek, New York to the late Norman Sackett and Margaret Sackett Brandt. She was a 1969 graduate of Cardinal Mindszenty High School in Dunkirk, NY, and a 1973 graduate of Rosary Hill College in Amherst, NY. She enjoyed volunteering for the GFWC Punta Gorda's Women's Club, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the Punta Gorda Historical Society. Her brothers particularly appreciated the great care she gave their late mother, Maggie. Lynn was an excellent cook, an avid reader, and loved British TV mysteries. She also loved going to Disney World with her three granddaughters. She is survived by her loving family, a son Dr. Daniel (Christine Oler) Bartz, of Cape Coral, FL, a daughter Cheryl Bartz Morrison (Daniel Morrison) of Ponte Vedra, FL, a brother, Mark (Jacquelyn McCaig) Sackett of Silver Creek, NY a brother, Lawrence (Carla Hendricks) Sackett of Wilmington, NC; and three granddaughters, Ava, Lalor, and Darby. Lynn was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Wayne Bartz, her parents, her infant brother Lawrence Mark and her granddaughter Emma Margaret.
