Lynn W. Cook, 82 passed away on October 15,2023 in Jefferson City, Tennessee. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Mac Cook; son, Michael Cook and wife Mia of Spring, Texas; and step-daughters, Diane Sims of Dandridge, Tennessee, Cynthia Wallace of St. Louis, Missouri, and Linda Mustain and husband Daniel of Sugarland, Texas; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Lynn graduated from Reagan High School in Houston Texas. She attended the University of Houston for two years and went on to receive a Bachelors and Masters of Arts degree in Christian Counseling from Patriot University.
Lynn was a Commercial Consultant for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in Houston Texas for thirteen years. In 1985, she and Mac worked with the Mobile Missionary Assistance Program for four years. From 1989-2023, she served as a full-time missionary to campers. Lynn loved to sing, lead ladies bible studies, teach children, sing in the choir, and often praised her Lord through special music.
Funeral services will be performed October 18, 2023, 1:00pm at Central Heights Baptist Church, 108 E. Price Rd. Dandridge, Tennessee with a visitation prior to the service from 11:00am until 1:00pm. The graveside interment will follow the service at Dandridge Memorial Gardens, 951 US-25W Dandridge Tennessee. The family has requested that In Lieu of Flowers memorial donation be made to Central Heights Baptist Church.
