Lynn Crank Obituary
Ms. Lynn Crank, 71, of Severn, Maryland, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2024.
Born in October 1952, to the late George and Clara Crank, Lynn was a spirited and adventurous soul. Growing up, she excelled in her primary and secondary studies at the Illinois School for the Deaf. She furthered her education at Gallaudet University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in 1976.
Lynn's 35-year career as a paralegal with the United Mine Workers of America was both challenging and rewarding. She was known for her dedication and dependability. After retiring in 2015, she devoted her time to her passions: traveling abroad, road trips, and creating beautiful quilts.
A loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Lynn is survived by her children: Erica (Andre) Lewis, of Severn, Maryland, Jason Weaver of Baltimore, Maryland, and Benjamin (Sonya) Weaver of Kuwait. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, her brothers, John (Un Mei) Crank, Keith (Miriam) Crank, and Dale (Mary) Crank, and sisters, Lois Leslie and Lisa Crank.
Lynn was a cherished member of her community and will be deeply missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
