Lynn Elaine Darnell

Darnell, Lynn Elaine Grand Blanc Age 77, died April 5, 2023. A celebration of life will be held in the future. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Lynn was born September 27, 1945 in Flint, the daughter of Fred and Virginia (Hughes) Fischer. Lynn was a graduate of Kearsley High School. She married Ronald Darnell on April 10, 1966. She graduated from The University of Michigan, Flint in 1981. She earned her Masters Degree from Mary Grove College in 1987. Mrs. Darnell was a teacher at Grand Blanc Schools, teaching in grade school and then finishing her career teaching Alternative Education. She retired in 2002. She is survived by her husband of nearly 57 years, Ronald Darnell of Grand Blanc; daughter, Denise (Ryan) McDowell of Fenton; son, Matthew Darnell of Grand Blanc; 3 grandchildren, Joshua Darnell, Jessica Darnell, and Ryann McDowell; brothers, Jim (Becky) Fischer, Mark (Char) Fischer; several nieces and nephews.
