Lynn Gray Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center on Feb. 11, 2026.
Lynnetta Jo Gray, 73, lovingly known by many as "Lynn," a longtime Martinsville resident, entered eternal rest with loved ones by her side on Monday, February 9th, 2026, at IU Health Hospital in Bloomington, Indiana.

She was born on September 24th, 1952, in Evansville, Indiana, to the late Robert Lowell and Martha Jane (Skidmore) Watkins. Lynn was young when her family moved from Oakland City to Martinsville, where she spent most of her life and built many lasting friendships.

Lynn retired as prosecuting secretary for the Morgan County Probation Department in Martinsville after years of dedicated service. Her life was centered around her faith and her family. She was a devoted member of Hoosier Harvest Church in Martinsville, where she faithfully served on the Prayer Team and sang with the Praise and Worship Team.

Undoubtedly, Lynn's greatest joy was her family, whom she loved deeply. She also enjoyed crocheting and lovingly created many handmade gifts that her family and friends will cherish for years to come.

She leaves behind her loving family, including her son, Lance Gray; sisters, Nancy Thompson (Brian), and Joyce Runnels (James); grandchildren, Jacquelyn Fowler (Joe), Kaitlynn Gray, Isaiah Gray (Kylie), and Josiah Gray (Alivia); daughter-in-law, Amy Gray, six great-grandchildren and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Clinton Gray, son-in-law, Robert Filce and one niece and one nephew.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service celebrating Lynn's life at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 14th, 2026, at New South Park Cemetery in Martinsville. Memorial contributions may be made to Hoosier Harvest Church, 4085 Leonard Rd., Martinsville, IN 46151. Neal & Summers Funeral & Cremation Center has been entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences may be shared with Lynn's family at www.nealandsummers.com.
