Lynn Hamrick

Lynn Hamrick, 63, of Russell, died Friday, July 27, 2007. He was born in Bald Knob January 20, 1944 a son of the late Epter and Emily Bazzill Hamrick. Lynn had worked in pipeline construction for many years and had performed about every job there was. Through the years his work took him to 62 foreign lands and he had traveled nearly all 50 states; however his heart was always in Bald Knob. Lynn was an avid fisherman and loved a good card game. He is survived by his wife, Ramona Hamrick; sons, Michael Hamrick (Sue) of Bradford; Jeff Hamrick of Decatur, Alabama and Kevin Smith of Russell; a sister, Sue McClain (Tommy) of Benton and a grandson, Corbin Kirk Hamrick who was the apple of his eye. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Charlene Eden. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday. Services: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Carter Cemetery by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob- Judsonia. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
