Lynn Lacy Holmes, age 94, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, at her home in Denver, Colorado. Born on November 27, 1931, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Lynn lived a life rooted in faith, family, and love.
She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Everett Holmes, whom she met in Wichita, Kansas. Together they built a life devoted to family and shared values. Lynn was a devoted mother to Anne Holmes, Charles Holmes (Sally Holmes), and Rebecca Adams (the late Craig Adams).
Lynn was a proud and loving grandmother to Bradia Holmes, Peter Holmes, Olivia Holmes, Lacy Adams, Benton Adams, and John Adams, each of whom brought her great joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John E. Lacy and Gertrude A. Lacy, as well as her husband, Charles Everett Holmes.
As a devout Catholic, Lynn’s faith was a guiding force throughout her life. She found great comfort and inspiration in reading and writing poetry, a passion that reflected her thoughtful and gentle spirit. Above all, she cherished her family and the time spent with those she loved.
Lynn Lacy Holmes will be remembered for her quiet strength, deep faith, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched and the love she so freely gave.
