Lynn Etta Salter Jossey, 65, of Albany, GA, died January 20, 2024 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Oak Grove Cemetery in Americus, GA. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.
Lynn was a native of Moultrie, GA but grew up and lived in Albany, GA all of her life. She attended Dougherty High School and was employed in the Finance Business most of her career, working with World Finance, City Group and retired from Lendmark Financial Services. Lynn enjoyed spending time at her home at the Beach, being with her family and loved, I mean loved shopping. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Saunders Salter.
Survivors include her husband, Randall T. Jossey of Albany, GA, her father, Horace Salter of Scooterville, GA, her children, Rachal Jossey of Worth County, GA and Melissa Jossey of Leesburg, GA, her siblings, Silvia (Mike) McLoad of Tallahassee, FL, David (Janice) Salter and Don (Cathy) Salter all of Worth County, GA and her grandchildren, Tristan (Sam Ford) Proctor, Jailyn Proctor, Kaylan Burchett and Caden Powell all of Worth County, GA.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.
