Lenny Dreis, also known as “Layed-back Lenny” lived a very fulfilling life as “Pops”, a caring brother, “Papa”, uncle and friend to many. He loved spending his days, first and foremost, with his family. He gave himself unselfishly for anything they desired. He was an avid golfer and spent countless hours trying to conquer his nemesis that is known as hole 17 at Rolling Meadows.
When not with his family or on the golf course, he spent his time with his buddies drinking Bud Light and playing Keno. He was the most humble, kind and hard-working person that set a perfect example for his children and grandchildren. He was a true hero in the eyes of all that knew him.
Loved ones that will miss Lenny are his former wife Mary Dreis and their children, Christopher (Stacey), Maria (Mike) Lorenger, Nichole (Demont), the late Mark (1983), Matt (Lynsey), and Michelle. Loving Papa to Aiden, Olivia, Nathan, Kayla, Brandon, Benjamin and Amelia. Brother to Denise (Randy) Glinz.
Loved ones that cleared the path for Lenny are his father Albert Dreis (2010), mother Eleanor Dreis (2012) and sister Nancy Dreis (2011).
