Lynn Mitchell Obituary
Lynn was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edna Hale, Archie Hale, and Paul Sutphin.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bobby; her children, Jason Bess, Lucas Bess (Natalie), and Kelly Bess; her parents, Gary Hale (Ginger) and Opal Walrond (Ronnie); her mother-in-law, Shelby Hall; her grandson, Alex McCombs; and her siblings, Vickie Dooley (Puga), Gary T. Hale (Karen), and Brandy Stokes (Alvin). She is also remembered fondly by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
A graduate of Liberty High School in Bedford, Virginia, Lynn left home in pursuit of bigger dreams. She moved to Alabama, where she began her family and discovered one of her greatest joys-being a mother. Lynn loved the beach and was an enthusiastic seashell hunter; her prized find was a beautiful conch shell from the Bahamas. She also enjoyed caring for her flowers and spending time shooting pool. Lynn never met a stranger, and her warm, outgoing spirit made her beloved by all who knew her.
In 2018, Lynn met the love of her life, Bobby. With him, she found a new chapter of happiness. After moving to Panama City Beach, the two built a life filled with memories, laughter, and simple joys. Lynn truly lived her best life in these years, surrounded by love, sunshine, and the people who meant the most to her.
Lynn will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
