Lynn Marie Ormsby-Massingill passed away unexpectedly at home 10/27/2025 at the age of 61. She was born in Peru, NY May 8, 1964 to Harold and Constance Ormsby (Ladd-McGarr). Lynn graduated from Peru High School and Clinton Community College. She has worked as a critical care nurse for 31 years and serves on multiple veterans organizations. Lynn loved upstate NY and its autumn splendor, riding her Harley Davidson, rooting for Alabama (roll-tide) and Nascar, and was a faithful Christian and very loving and supportive member of the Cowboy Baptist Church in Grand Bay, AL. She loved decorating, especially for Christmas, and making every holiday magical for her family. Her life's biggest achievement was her family whom she was so selflessly devoted to. Wife, Mom, Mama Lynn, Grandma, Grand-mamma.
Lynn leaves behind her husband Dr. Johnny Massingill, children Amber Keable (Jason), Richard Carnahan and step children Shaylyn Clark (Steven), Jonathon Massingill (Brooke), Jordan Massingill, Tucker Massingill (Shelby), and Hunter Massingill (Katie). Grandchildren Zachary Keable, Morgan Keable, Lincoln Keable, Fletcher Keable, Griffin Keable, Abigail Carnahan. Grandmother and loving guardian to Elizabeth Maiden, Victoria Maiden, Aurelia Maiden, and Brynlei Carnahan. Step-grandchildren Caleb Massingill, Addy Massingill, Cayce Massingill, Maston Clark, Mylynn Clark, Caden Epps, Liam Epps, Wiley Massingill, Tilly Massingill, Quigley Massingill, Ailey Massingill, Bridger Massingill. Her brothers Craig Ormsby (predeceased), Howard Ormsby (Amy), Michael Ormsby (Stephanie), and Todd Ormsby. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
