Lynn Roberts Obituary
Lynn Adele Roberts, born April 11, 1950, to Florence Isabel Hartzell and John Henry Roberts in Topeka, Kansas. Lynn passed away May 26, 2025, at Stormont Vail Hospital from complications developed after surgery.
Lynn led a full life even with her many complex medical challenges. Besides her family that she cherished, her second love was for her church family at the Oakland Church of the Nazarene.
Lynn lived the last five years at Rolling Hills Assisted Living. Lynn enjoyed her fellow residents and staff. She enjoyed Bingo days, and she loved it more when she won. The family would like to thank the Staff of Rolling Hills for taking such great care of Lynn.
She was preceded in death by her mother Florence Roberts, brother Chester Roberts, sister Glenda Scarborough, niece Jolene Scarborough; and a half-brother, Mike.
Survivors include, brother, John Roberts (Teresa), and sister Diane Williams of Topeka; half-brothers, Warren and Dan both of Topeka; nephews, Jason Roberts (Mistie) of Topeka, and Jon Scarborough (Danielle) of LaGrange KY; nieces Sara Roberts, Ambroja Watson (Tim) both of Topeka, Susan Curtiss (Charles), Norman, OK and Jasmine Tyree, of Grand Prairie, TX plus numerous great nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Parker-Price and Davidson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday June 2, 2025, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oakland Church of the Nazarene or to Meals on Wheels.
