Lynne T. Boutet 1947 - 2021
ORISKANY - Lynne T. Boutet, 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family, on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the Abraham House, Rome.
She was born on April 30, 1947, in Utica, a daughter of the late Lionel and Rita (Caron) Boutet. She was a graduate of New Hartford High School and St. Elizabeth's School of Nursing.
She was employed at one time with St. Elizabeth's Hospital as an RN and later accepted a position with Marcy Correctional Facility.
Lynne was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who cherished the time that she spent with her family, especially her adored grandchildren. She loved shopping and going to garage sales.
She is survived by her sons, Daniel Hahn and his wife, TT, of Tacoma, WA and David Hahn, of Oriskany. She also leaves five grandchildren, Maranda, Connor, Ethan, Ryder and Hazel; two great grandchildren; a sister, Dawn Pellerin, of New Hartford; and a special niece, Alexis Pellerin. She was predeceased by a brother, Gary Boutet.
The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff of the Abraham House, Rome, for the wonderful care and compassion given to Lynne during her stay there, especially acknowledging Hazel and Marissa.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at 12:00 noon, at Holy Trinity Church, Utica, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Whitesboro. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, prior to the funeral, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the Dimbleby Funeral Homes, Inc., 40 Main St., Whitesboro.
