I met Lynne about 20 years ago and we became friends quickly as I loved her Irish brogue and ways. Though I lived 50 miles away I often visited my favorite Michigan town, S. Haven, and no visit was complete without a visit with Lynne on her Erie street front porch where we would talk and I might play her some Irish music if I´d brought my guitar. After moving to Florida my visits became less frequent especially at the nursing home, but she was always in great spirits even there where she seemed to have found purpose. I was greatly saddened to learn too late that she´d passed last year before I had one last visit planned in the fall. She was a great lady and she is sorely missed.
