Lynne Puhr

Lynne Carol Puhr passed away peacefully on October 28th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Lynne was born in North Dakota on September 18th, 1947, to Obert and Evelyn Holland where she grew up alongside her siblings until graduating high-school. She used her diploma by attending beauty school to be a hairdresser. Lynne eventually opened her home as a daycare center. She later worked in the dietary department at Parkside and the North Dakota Veterans Home.

Lynne met her husband, John (Jack) Henry Puhr and vowed to each other through marriage on September 19th, 1969. He passed away on November 11th, 2009.

She is survived by her children, Tammy (Mike) Busche, Marcy Puhr, and Chad Puhr (Lynette); grandchildren, Austin Busche (Alexis), and Hayley (Kendal) Miner; great-grandchildren Kobe, Jordan, Reign, and Apollo Miner.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jack, a brother, two sisters and many other relatives.

Lynne would be described as outgoing, admirable, hard working, and loving. She was the foundation to a successful, happy family, and will continue to be in the hearts of many.

The life of Lynne Puhr will be celebrated through a prayer service at Dahlstrom Funeral Home in Lisbon ND on Thursday November 6th, 2025 at 2:30 pm. Visitation to have private goodbyes and prayers will be held between 1:30pm to 2:30pm. Lynne's service will be live streamed below. Burial will be at St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery, Lisbon, ND.
