Lynnette J. Diaz, age 71, of Bryan, Ohio passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.  Lynnette was a devoted and active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Bryan.  She was the choir and bell-choir director for several years.  She also enjoyed knitting, quilting and playing Mahjong.

Lynnette was born September 12, 1952 in Thief River Falls, MN, the daughter of Carl and Jean (Effinger) Olson.  She earned an Associate degree in accounting and Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology.  Lynnette married Dr. Lamberto Diaz on October 12, 1974, in Bemidji, MN and he survives.

Lynnette is also survived by her children, Erik Diaz, of Bryan, Emily Diaz and fiancé Stephen Hamrock, of North Canton, Ohio and Paul (Kristin) Diaz, of Bryan;  grandchildren, Noah, Alex, Libby, Griffin and Isabella; sister, Jaci (Tom) Jones, of Maple Grove, MN and brother Greg Olson, of North St. Paul, MN and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Barbara Anderson.

Visitation for Lynnette will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 509 Center Street, Bryan, Ohio with Pastor Mary Beth Smith-Gunn officiating.  Burial will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.

The family requests memorial contributions be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church.
