Lynnette Mockli, beloved matriarch, passed away on May 8, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and strength. Born on January 21, 1944, she was a pillar of quiet resolve and independence. Lynnette's life was defined by her unwavering devotion to her four children: Chris Mockli (Annette), Kelly Mockli, Jared Mockli (Shannon), and Heather Andrews (Guy); and her seven cherished grandchildren: Jake Mockli (Lexi), Jaden, Austin and Kaylee Andrews, Florence and Lucia Mockli, and another on the way. Her siblings: Terry Smith (Cheryl), Marla Jensen (Bruce), Terri Allen (Keith), Shari Mockli, Philip Mockli, and Brad Mockli (Eileen). She lived selflessly, always putting the needs of her family before her own. Her quiet strength and unconditional love will forever be remembered and cherished by all who knew her. Lynnette has been reunited on the other side of the veil by William Mockli, her beloved husband, her parents Eliot and LaRue Smith, and her brother Rick Smith. Though she may be gone, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 12:00 pm at the Preston 8th Ward Chapel, 213 S. 200 E. Preston, Idaho. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Whitney Idaho Cemetery.
