Joann Reid, age 77, of Pierceton, was surrounded by her family when she went home to be with the Lord on July 9, 2025. She was born on September 26, 1947, in Warsaw to C.J. and Imy Menzie. She would marry her husband Rex, on October 15, 1965 shortly after graduating from North Webster High School in 1965.

She was blessed to stay home with her children and went to work later in life, where she retired from LCB as a receptionist. She was known for her unwavering kindness, fierce loyalty, and vibrant spirit. Joann was a devoted believer in Jesus Christ and a member of the First Brethren Church in Warsaw for many years.

Joann's joy was found in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was traveling with her husband, tending to her flowers, or enjoying the company of birds and bunnies in her backyard. She had a notable talent for hosting family gatherings and was always happiest when preparing meals for her loved ones. Joann had a remarkable gift for laughter and a passion for sharing love with those around her, enriching their lives with her warm-giggling presence.

Family was at the heart of Joann's life. She is survived by her loving husband, Rex DeVern Reid of Pierceton, her daughter, Debbie (J.D.) Ayres of North Webster, and her grandchildren, Brette (Quinten) Stamper, Nolan Reid, and Addison Ayres. She also leaves behind her great-grandson, Jack DeVern Stamper, and her twin sister, Martha "Jeannie" Auker.

She is preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Mark Reid; her parents, Charles Junior "CJ" Menzie and Francis Imogene "Imy" Richwine Menzie; and her brothers, Dick Menzie, James Gullett II, John Gullett, and Jerry Gullett.

A visitation to honor Joann's life will be held on July 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Titus Funeral Home at 8056 E. 500 North, North Webster, IN 46555. Her funeral will be held on July 15, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior. Her service will be led by Pastor Rod Utter of Cornerstone Church of Mentone. Burial will follow at Mock Cemetery.

Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Greater Indiana Chapter.

John 14 1-3: Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
