M. Judith (Judy) Green, of Waltham, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Lahey Medical Center in Peabody. She was 92.
Judy was born in Boston on March 14, 1933 and grew up in Medford before moving to Cambridge and graduating from Cambridge High and Latin in 1950.
She then earned a certificate from Forsyth Dental School and worked as a dental hygenist for the Town of Medford.
In 1953, she married H. Bradford (Brad) Green, who passed away in 1997. They originally resided in Medford before moving to Belmont where they were very involved with Plymouth Congregational Church. Just before Brad"s passing, they moved to their condo in Waltham. Together, they shared a passion for travel, exploring destination all over the world and entertaining their many friends. Judy was aslo known for her vibrant social spirit and enjoying countless hours with friends while attending shows, playing cards or going to flea markets.
Judy worked as an office manger and medical assistant for various doctors in the area, a role she held with dedication and professionalism. She later served as the assistant manger at the gift shop at Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Judy was on the Board of Directors for Lawrence Memorial Hospital and a long-time volunteer in their gift shop.
In addition to her husband, Brad, she was predeaceased by her son, Charles Thomas (Tommy) Green, parents Sylvia (Cutler) and Frank Hargrove and a dear friend, Arthur Brienza.
Judy leaves her sister, Sandra Frias, brother-in-law, Raymond Frias both of East Falmouth, along with many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Judy's life by gathering for a graveside service at 11:30 on Tuesday, October 21st in Cambridge Cemetery, 76 Coolidge Avenue, Cambridge.
