I only knew her as Kathy Zappa. My husband became a Maplewood police officer why back in 1966. Joe was already an officer and became one of Dennis´ mentors.
Kathy and I met at a police wives meeting. She was warm, friendly and protective to us young wives.
I enjoyed her leadership and confidence. She was a lady I knew I could trust and go to for guidance.
Dennis and I both enjoyed her and Joe. They are together again as it should be. God bless them both.
