Maria Ofelia Neri Perez passed away in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Thursday, December 18, 2025, surrounded by all her loved ones.
was born in Arturo Bernal, Durango, Mexico, on April 1, 1936. She was a strong and wonderful mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law. She overcame many obstacles and, despite everything, always treated everyone with great affection. She was a kindhearted person and was always ready to help anyone in need.
She will always be remembered as a generous and compassionate woman and will leave behind an admirable legacy. We will miss her dearly and will always remember her with immense love.
Maria's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 6:00pm at Reflections Chapel located at 2400 Washington St. NE, 87110. Rosary will be recited at 8:00pm. Final Viewing will take place on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 8:45 at Shrine of the Little Flower St. Therese of the infant Jesus Catholic Church located at 3424 4th St. NW, 87107. Mass will begin at 9:00am. Maria will be laid to rest following the Mass at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery located at 924 Menaul Blvd NE, 87107. Reception will follow inside Salazar Mortuary Event Center located at 400 Third St. SW, 87102.
María Ofelia Neri Pérez falleció en Albuquerque, Nuevo México, el jueves 18 de diciembre de 2025, rodeada de todos sus seres queridos.
Nació en Arturo Bernal, Durango, México, el 1 de abril de 1936. Fue una madre, abuela y suegra fuerte y maravillosa. Superó muchos obstáculos y, a pesar de todo, siempre trató a todos con gran cariño. Era una persona de buen corazón y siempre estaba dispuesta a ayudar a quien lo necesitara.
Siempre será recordada como una mujer generosa y compasiva, y dejará un legado admirable. La extrañaremos muchísimo y siempre la recordaremos con inmenso amor.
La celebración de la vida de María comenzará con un velorio el martes 6 de enero de 2026, a las 6:00 p. m. en la Reflections Chapel, ubicada en 2400 Washington St. NE, 87110. El rosario se rezará a las 8:00 p. m. El último velorio se llevará a cabo el miércoles 7 de enero de 2026, a las 8:45 a. m. en la Shrine of the Little Flower St. Therese of the infant Jesus Catholic Church, ubicada en 3424 4th St. NW, 87107. La misa comenzará a las 9:00 a. m. María será sepultada después de la misa en el Cementerio Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, ubicado en 924 Menaul Blvd NE, 87107.
