Mable Ruth Hall

Mable Ruth Hall was born in Goldsboro, NC on September 5, 1932 to Tempie Lee Hamilton and William Coley. She met the Lord, peacefully, in her sleep on Saturday, February 21, 2026, with her daughter by her side.

In the presence of the Lord, is where Mable wanted to be. In fact, if anyone was ever looking for Mable, she could be found studying her bible, evangelizing, both inside and outside of church. Mable loved the Lord and wanted everyone she encountered to know the same Goodness and Faithfulness of Jesus Christ. She wanted everyone to be Saved and, oh, did she enjoy singing. Mable was a popular choice for solos at church and other organizations.

Mable graduated high school in 1951. Following her education in the Goldsboro, NC school system, Mable worked as a hair dresser at Bonial Dress Company (Goldsboro, NC) for 3 years. Later, she migrated to Camden, New Jersey, where she worked as a nurse's aide at West Jersey Hospital for several years. Mable retired after 25 years of service at the United States Department of Labor. She was very dedicated to helping others and took her job seriously. Her innovative ways and work habits charmed the community and customers she served.

Mable met Howard Hall during the springtime of 1953. As the flowers bloomed, so did their love and devotion for each other. They married two years later in 1955 and Howard predeceased Mable in 2009. From this union with her late husband, two children were born–a girl, Karen D. Hall, and a boy, her late son, Howard L. Hall. Mable was further blessed with (9) grandchildren, many many Great-grandchildren, and even a few Great–Great-grandchildren.

Endearingly known as "Pod" or "Ruby" by those who are closest to her, each is left to cherish Mable's love, devotion, and strength–all rooted from her steadfastness in God.
