Maciej Robert Kulig

This was such painful news for our entire family. Maciej was our son's best friend since middle school and that made him always present in our family.
I just think that there is always a light at the end of the path and I feel that he will always be with you in his lives like an angel protecting each member of his family as he will also take care of my son.

God bless your family at this time of such a sad, sad loss. I can remember Maciej, my fourth grade student at Bergen Charter Elementary as if it were yesterday ! Exceptionally bright, curious, hard- working and delightful, he had the manners of a prince and could socialize with absolutely everyone, adults and children alike- even in 4th grade. Grateful to see him continue his education, since he had so much to share and a true gift for learning. I recall his appreciation and knowledge of music. Be blessed with all the great memories he left for you, and please accept my deep sympathy.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I was Maciej's fifth grade math teacher. I haven't seen him in years but I remember him well. So kind, respectful, and funny. Always a hard worker. I'm grateful that our paths crossed. I'm praying for his family.

Maciej and I shared a class my sophomore year of highschool. He was the kindest and most thoughtful boy I knew. He was always respectful and gentle towards everyone, and there wasn't a day he wasn't nice to everyone. The tallest boy at school who would never pass you without a smile. In the year that I had the pleasure of teaching Maciej, he proved himself to be an incredibly dynamic and talented young man brimming with such a passion for music that you simply could not help but take notice. My thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family and cherished friends.

Rest easy Maciej. I am glad that I shared a good portion of my middle school and high school years with you. Talking about basketball and looking up to you because you were evidently the tallest kid in our grade is something I´ll never forget. I am glad we caught up this summer and I´ll cherish the memories we had made.

Maciej was the sweetest soul in Bergen Charter Middle school and he carried his kindness all the way through Bergen High. Maciej was shy, quiet, and kept to himself for the most part of school. As years went on I personally got to know him and spent many hours of my school time sitting and talking with him. Wether it was 5 minute interactions in the hallway before class, sitting at his lunch table or walking to the corner store together I learned a lot about him. Maciej was hilarious, i was never bored with him and he was the best listener mostly because he understood. Maciej and I stayed up late past our "bedtimes" texting about random things all night. We looked forward to seeing each other everyday. Maciej was my best friend. For only being in middle school we talked about important things. We opened up to each other shared our feelings, life goals, and our fears. As years went by and we got older we talked less but he still remained an essential part of my life. Our senior year I was able to reconnect with him, we were more mature then we were in middle school and though we haven´t talked in a long time we were forever connected by our deep meaningful conversations we had in the past. Maciej was and still is the sweetest boy I have ever known. He was pure, innocent, loving, forgiving, smart, handsome, athletic, respectful, and gentle. There was no one like him, he was the tall unforgettable boy with ocean eyes who walked throughout the Bergen Charter hallways. I will forever cherish our last moment together and i´ll never forget it. I won´t forget our conversations, our childhood giggles and every moment i´ve spent with you. Thank you Maciej for being so persistent and for being the person you were. Rest in peace My prayers are with his family and loved ones during this challenging time.

Maciej, I am Fernando´s mom I will remember you for been a great friend of my son, for be his best friend, for be his buddy´s in the summer time, for make my son so happy every time you and him went out to have fun. You will be in ours hearts. My condolences to Maciej parents
