Mack Thomas Taylor Sr was born on January08, 1937, to Mary and Henry Taylor in Nashville TN.
Mack attended Nashville Public schools before he was enlisted into the United States Army in 1954. He received an honorable discharge upon completion of his service. After returning from the service, he worked in several professions including a butcher, and an employee of the ice company before being employed by the Coca Cola Company where he worked up until retirement.
Later in life Mack gave his life to Christ and was baptized in Jesus name at the Faith Apostolic Church of Nashville. Where remained a member up until the time of his passing.
Mack was united in holy matrimony to Elizabeth Taylor in 1957.
Mack often told the story of how his mother gave him eleven middle names at birth making his full name: Mack Mckinley Atlas Thomas Laficious Yieldwood Vanlier Lancaster Albright Tidwell Simpson Goodall Taylor; but he explained that the United States government would not allow him to carry the entire name. They asked that he choose only one middle name, and he liked Thomas the most out of all the rest. So, this is how he was legally referred to as Mack Thomas Taylor.
Mack enjoyed watching television and playing dominoes. He also loved eating sweets, but his favorite was gum and tootsie rolls
