I did not have much personal contact with Madge but this story came to mind when I saw the obituary. Madge and Tom were good friends with Henry and Alma Resch. I worked with Henry who was Director of Transportation at the Warren County Board of Education and always had buses on his mind. One morning he told me he got in trouble the night before with Madge when they all went to a function together. Madge came out wearing a bright yellow dress. Henry told her she looked like a big yellow school bus!!!! The more he tried to explain, the worse it got, if you know Henry. Ha. I´m sure Henry didn´t get in trouble and the story made for lots of laughs and a fun evening for them. I´ve repeated this story many times over the years. My condolences to you on the loss of your special one. Barbara White

I first met Madge when her Mom, Dad and siblings moved to College View Dr. in Bowling Green. She was married to Tom Bailey and they had daughter JoCarol who was about age four. Our families were neighbors then and remained friends all our lives. Tom and Madge later were blessed with another daughter Janet. Madge,s youngest sister Jozette is my very oldest life long friend. Madge and Tom always included all we kids in their activities, trips, family gatherings, cookouts at home, and we attended church with them.
Madge was a very smart lady and always took pride in her appearance and dressed so stylish. She volunteered for many community activities and was involved in her daughter´s activities.
I always enjoyed being with Madge and her family. Madge had a wonderful sense of humor and we loved to reminisce about past adventures. She loved all her family and never forgot her beginnings.
Madge was a devoted Mother, wife, daughter, sibling and a friend to all.
She was a Christian lady and served her church and Lord.
The sun will not shine as bright nor the flowers smell so fragrant without her in this world.
May Madge rest in peace with our Lord and reseave all the blessings she deserves.
Farewell dear lady.
